Girls’ and Boys’ Shield Final Medal Presentation, December 2019

Country Cup Champions The boys’ Gaelic football team won the Country Cup football final against Clara before Christmas on a scoreline of 5-6 to 1-4. Schools Futsall Competition, Nov 2019

Well done to the fourth class girls who took part in the Schools Futsall Competition in the Watershed. The girls played very well in their three matches, against KSP, Bunscoil McAuley Rís and the Gael Scoil.

Cumann na mBunscoil, Kilkenny Handball, Jan 2018

Last Friday, 26th January, a number of children from St Mary’s competed in the Cumann na mBunscoil handball championships in O’ Loughlin’s Kilkenny and were very successful too! Cumann a mBunscoil under 11 Roinn A winners

The St. Mary’s under 11 team beat Clara in the final of the Roinn A hurling league on Wednesday, June 14th at Larchfield. GAA Go Games at Dunmore Pitch, June 2016

  Ms Murphy’s and Ms Tyrrell’s 3rd class participated in GAA Go Games at the pitch in Dunmore on June 2nd. Children from schools in Mullinavat and Ballyhale also attended on the day. Anna Cass-cades Down the Liffey to Victory, May 2016

(Written by Anna Cass) The Junior Liffey Decent is a huge race for kayakers. We started the race at the Salmon Leap Canoe Club in Co. Kildare. We kayaked 11.5 Km, over 4 weirs and 1 portage to finish over an hour later at Chapelizod in Dublin. I was the first home in the Under 15’s girls’ category.
