The Junior Liffey Decent is a huge race for kayakers. We started the race at the Salmon Leap Canoe Club in Co. Kildare. We kayaked 11.5 Km, over 4 weirs and 1 portage to finish over an hour later at Chapelizod in Dublin. I was the first home in the Under 15’s girls’ category.
