Club Handball Una, Gordon, Daragh and I won the badminton club final in late March. We played and won all of our matches against St Mary’s. We played singles, doubles and mixed doubles. We had a great time playing all the matches. We were awarded our trophies and we thanked St Mary’s for coming down to play us. Gordon (The captain) read a speech.

On Christmas week, it had to take 70 minutes to separate Thomastown and Tullogher-Rosbercon. Right from the go, the teams were evenly matched. This years champions are the Red Bulls!!! It wasn’t easy….. especially the final! Both teams were able to pick off their scores. It was a thrilling encounter between Thomastown and St. Canice’s on Saturday last. St. Canice’s were hoping to get their 10-in-a-row victory and if it was not for our goalkeeper Mikey Murphy they could have won!
