‘Journeys’ the book is about the journey our ‘Per Cent for Art’ stone made from the quarry, where a 7 tonne block of Kilkenny limestone was removed from the quarry bed, and was taken to McKeon Stoneyard in Stradbally, Co. Double Delight!

(Written by Alex and Anna Cass) On September 27th, the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Final replay was taking place. Róisín O’ Meara from Tipp and myself, Alex Cass, were bringing out the Liam McCarthy cup. First we went into the Tipp dressing room, then the KIlkenny one and of course they weren’t there. U12 Girls Soccer League

Sportsman Award, June 2014

Diarmuid Galway and Eddie Donnelly were awarded ‘Sportsmen of the Year’ for leadership behaviour and good hurling. They reached the Roinn A quarter final to lose to CBS, who they had beaten earlier in the league. Well done to both boys on receiving these outstanding awards.

Junior Infant Photos, Room 3, Ms Stapleton

The junior infants had a very busy year with lots of important visitors – the garda, the army, the postman and even the Easter Bunny! The children had sports, an egg hunt, a picnic and a cake sale in school. They also travelled to Rancho Reilly’s Farm in May. A great time was had by all.

Our Chicks Have Hatched!

There was tremendous excitement throughout the school today as a number of chicks hatched from their eggs. We watched the eggs wobble and we heard the chirping from within the egg. It was amazing to watch them peak their beaks through the eggshell, finally breaking free! After the chicks hatched they were allowed to dry off and fluff up in the incubator before removing

Our Chicks are Almost Hatched!

Don’t forget to take a peek at our 13 fertilised incubated eggs situated outside Mrs Walsh’s office. The eggs are due to hatch any day now on day 20 or 21.
