On September 27th, the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Final replay was taking place. Róisín O’ Meara from Tipp and myself, Alex Cass, were bringing out the Liam McCarthy cup. First we went into the Tipp dressing room, then the KIlkenny one and of course they weren’t there. Then we went to the physio room and the indoor ball wall. We even got a photo in the showers!!! (LOL:)
When we were bringing it out to the pitch, the atmosphere was AMAZING! I heard ‘C’mon Tipp!’ and ‘C’mon the Cats!’. When we were walking out onto the pitch it was very nerve racking but exciting. I really really enjoyed it! We got to meet Dáithí O’ Sé and Marty too. Our tour guide was very funny. It was the best day ever!
