Girl’s Gaelic Football Final V Gowran, Nov. 2013

(Written by Ellen Molloy) Last Wednesday, November 13th, the girl’s school Gaelic football team played Gowran in a Gaelic final in Nowlan Park. Halloween at St Mary’s, 2013

St. Mary’s was a very spooky school today. The school, which is usually full of lovely, friendly children, was instead full of witches, vampires, zombies and ghosts. There were a few super heroes in the mix!!! Happy Halloween everyone. Enjoy the festivities…..


Girl’s Football Final (School League), October 2013

Junior Infant Fun Day! 21st June 2013

The junior infants enjoyed an activity-packed, fun-filled day last Friday 21st. They participated in a sport’s day, they attended the 6th class cake sale and they had a a teddy bear’s picnic!  Wow! What an exciting day!

57 junior infants boarded two buses on the 7th of June for a day trip to ‘Rancho Reilly’s’ Farm in Graiguecullen. The day was very sunny and the children had a super time! Kevin O’ Carroll and the Waterford Concert Orchestra, June 2013

This year’s concert was the fourth in the series and has now completed the tour around the families of the orchestra. Last Thursday in St Mary’s Kevin O’ Carroll and the Waterford Concert Orchestra gave us a tour of the String section.  Popular pieces such as Pachelbel’s Canon and Monti’s Czardas were played on the day. The children thoroughly enjoyed this musical experience.

Henry the Cub
