St Mary’s was a sea of blue and white today to help celebrate the victory of the Thomastown Intermediates last Sunday in Nowlan Park. The cup was proudly brought to our school today by 28 members of the team. They patiently signed autographs, jerseys and hurls and posed for countless pictures – they are a credit to their club. Well done lads!
The Noel Doherty managed TTown team appeared in their fourth final in five years and they firmly put an end to recent defeats at the hands of Danesfort, Tullaroan and Lisdowney as they celebrate a first title at the grade since 1983 on the score of 1-29 (Thomastown ) 0-17 (Mooncoin )
