After many years of blood, sweat and tears, we are finally ready to reinstate the swimming area at Thomastown Weir.  Thomastown Community River Trust (TCRT) will be holding a final clear up of the site on Thursday 2nd October from 9.00 am so please come along and help if you can (bring garden tools, strimmers etc!).  We plan to flood the swimming area at

(Written by Alex and Anna Cass) On September 27th, the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Final replay was taking place. Róisín O’ Meara from Tipp and myself, Alex Cass, were bringing out the Liam McCarthy cup. First we went into the Tipp dressing room, then the KIlkenny one and of course they weren’t there. Then we went to the physio room and the indoor ball wall.
