Roinn A Boy’s Gaelic Football Final V Dicksboro

It was a thrilling encounter between Thomastown and St. Canice’s on Saturday last. St. Canice’s were hoping to get their 10-in-a-row victory and if it was not for our goalkeeper Mikey Murphy they could have won! Points from David Griffin, Rory Monks, Ned Kirwan, Colm Whelan and a great goal from Stephen Wemyss really changed the game. The final score was 1-7 to 0-4

Girl’s Football Final, Nov 16th, 2011

Well done to two outstanding teams on a fantastic football final on Friday last. Both teams gave great performances but in the end team Galway were worthy winners. Commiserations to team Thomastown.
