The only goal scored in the match happened in the first half. It was Thomastown’s corner and Ruby Collins was taking it. We all lined up and she took a brilliant corner and the ball went right in front of the goal. A highview player from the other team tried to knock it but it went the wrong way and we got our goal!
Molly our goalkeeper made some brilliant saves. She was really tested during this game. Ellen Nugent, our sweeper, had an amazing game, as did all of our team. Well done to Ellen, Ruby, Olivia, Áine, Lily, Megan, Lily O’, Sophie, Viktoria, Áoibhínn, Rachel, Mia, Helen, Abbie, Daniella and Evie on a great win. Thanks also to the U13 panel.
