On Friday 26th of October a new creation arrived at our school. The new creation was a beautiful stone sculpture. It is a magnificent addition to our magnificent school. A gigantic crane arrived on Friday morning to lift the amazing piece of art from the back of a lorry. The whole school gathered to watch. Although we were freezing in our Halloween costumes, nobody cared as we all just wanted to see the arrival of the amazing stone. As the stone was gently lowered into place everyone clapped and cheered. The whole school  went crazy. It was a special moment.

Now the stone sculpture is part of our wonderful school. We hope the stone will have a special place here for many more years without harm.

Thank you to Michelle for all of her hard work and dedication.

On Friday 26th of October, all of the pupils at St Mary’s got dressed up and had Halloween parties. Mr Robert’s class had a fancy dress party and a prize was given to Miriam Brett for her fantastic halloween costume. Mr Roberts himself dressed up as ‘Mario’. (He even had Mario’s car!!!) We had a fantastic Halloween at St Mary’s.

Some photos to show how the stone sculpture was made….
