On Saturday 28th of March, in the Under 12 girls South East basketball league, Berkley played Wildcats in the final. The semi-finals had been played earlier that day and now it was time to see who was the best! Berkley scored 39 points whilst Wildcats scored 8 making Berkley the winners of the championship and the league.
The Berkley team was Sarah Barcoe (Captain), Áine Kirwan, Áine Murphy, Aoife Brennan, Hannah Burke, Chloe Conway, Peig Carrigan, Orla Kirwan, Aoife Coverdale, Libby Begley, Annie Waugh, Sarah Hudson and Sinéad Galway.
It was the first time the girls had won it in 14 years!
