The Heineken Cup arrived at St. Mary’s National School on Thursday the 8th of November. Leo the Lion came too!! All the classes gathered in the hall. There was great excitement. Leo entertained us all and gave out lots of Leinster hats to pupils who could answer questions about rugby correctly. After that we got our picture taken and got to hold the Heineken Cup.
With the help of coaches from the Kikenny rugby club we taken class by class out to the school pitch where we played tag rugby, rugby drills and games. It was great fun.
Come on Leinster!!!
